My beautiful boy Bozley is 9 years old. Just recently and very suddenly he became weak in his back legs and seemed a little down, not his bright active self at all. I then noticed that he was a bit bloated in his tummy. I took him straight to the vet where after blood tests, and a ECG, ultra sound and X-rays and nearly 2 litres of fluid was drained from his tummy i was told the very sad news that Bozley has a very severe heart condition. He has dilated cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure. He has lost 10 kilos in weight and is on 5 different medications and remains very weak on his back legs.. The vet has told me that i will probably only have my beautiful boy for about 6 months tops. Bozley is my best mate, we have been through so much together. I just cant imagine my life without him. I love him very very much and i treasure every day that we share together.
