My beloved mountain bike was stolen on Thursday (1st August). It was locked to a tree outside my work at corner Flinders Street and Spring Street Melbourne CBD and was taken sometime between 11:45am and 3:00pm. If anyone spots it, please contact me. Make : Merida Model : MATTS TFS XC 700 Year : 2010 Colour: Black with white highlights Theft date and time: 1st August 2013 (Thursday), sometime between 11:45am and 3:00pm. Theft location: Flinders street near Spring Street, opposite tram stop outside Shell building. The address of the Shell building is 1 Spring Street. The bike was locked to a tree using a fat cable lock through the frame. Parts: Alex Rims, Maxxis Hookworm tyres, Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes and gears. Wilderness Trail Bikes seat Accessories: Bell, Bike pump, Black bag mounted between top tube and seat post, Front and rear reflectors, Mount for bike lock on frame, Mount for headlight battery and bike pump on bottom tube, Mount for headlight, Wheels attached using five-sided allen keys to prevent theft, Identifying features: License number 054874282 etched onto underside of bottom bracket (at the bottom of the frame where the pedal cranks are attached), Scratch on top tube from tow-bar bike carrier, Thread stripped from allen key bolt on frame behind seat post (from when rear carrier was attached) - some scratches around that area too, Bicycle tube wrapped around frame near chain to prevent damage from chain.
