My brain is sooooooo restless tonight. I started watching Will Smith in Ali and shut it off 1/3 through. Not that it wasnt good, it was. I just needed something a bit more to chew through. Then I tried watching the Pinketty vid on Huff. I got halfway through the 20 min video and realized I hadnt understood one thing he said. Not one. I often test myself as Im reading or watching a vid and say to myself, Can I explain this to someone else accurately>? If not, Im not getting it and start over. So I just dropped that. Then I read the consciousness/physics article after Kate Ex Machina commented on it. I read it twice. I kept getting really aggrivated as there was something wrong. I mentioned it to Kate (who has the intellect of a Star Nova), and she said I had nailed the central problem with the article. I cant seem to calm my brain down. Ill have some tea in a bit and go watch Generation Kill on HBO while curled up in bed. The series always seems to calm me down and center me. Im a freak.
