My brother Tim is in St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor after a bad fall at home Sunday morning resulting in a bad cut across his forehead. We called 911 and an ambulance came and took him to Ann Arbor. It was a deep cut and required 33 stitches, 3 on the innermost tissue, 5 in the middle tissue and 25 across his forehead. He remained awake and alert throughout his initial care. He is in Room 832, but may be moved to physical therapy tomorrow. They want to keep him there for awhile and have him go through physical therapy to work on his balance. He is having head aches and feels nauseous at times, and is pretty tired. Hes going to be fine though. This mishap is related to his brain injury he received in a car accident in 1991, so hopefully his auto insurance should pay for it.
