My brother had a doctors appointment in Victoria Tuesday, he asked if I would take him there after he arrived from Courtenay. He suffers a lot of back pain and was hoping for relief. Upon examination by the physician he was informed that there wasnt anything he could do and that he would have to live with it. There is much pain in the world today..physical and mental. I learned long ago that only the Lord knows your pain...we can sympathize...but we really cant feel the pain of another person. This pain thing began after Mr and Mrs. Adam didnt take God seriously in the Garden of Eden. God gave them eviction notice and their lives were never the same, they entered a life that because of their disobedience placed them in a broken world where sin reigned ....and Satan destroyed lives of men and women. Remember the first child born...Cain, out of jealous anger killed his brother Able. The human race has experienced pain ever since. The news isnt all bad...Jesus came, to redeem what was lost...to do what the world order of things can not fix. It was not Gods intention to say, sorry, theres not a thing I can do about it...you will have to live with it. the illustration Jesus gave of the sheperd (Hes the Shepherd), those who have trusted in Him are the sheep: I am the door, if anyone enters through me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief (Satan) comes only to steal, and kil, and destroy, I came that they might have life, and might have it more abundantly. I am the good Shepherd, the good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. (John 9:9 - 11) If we think or know , the world is in a sorry mess now....could we ever imagine what it would be like if Jesus had not come?
