My brother in law Hector Mac Neil is a great guy and has been teaching Gaelic for over 20 years. Through this, he has obviously had a positive influence on several (including me) and this proves it. A community group from Central Cape Breton is holding an event to show their support and appreciation for him on Saturday. I felt that this was a very special gesture which really spoke to Hectors character. I just wanted to let people know. He has been dealing with health issues for the past two years and has been diagnosed with Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS). I wish I lived closer so I could help out in whatever way I could. I just want Hector and my wonderful grande soeur Gisele Belliveau to know how much we love them and are here for them even though we are not a stones throw away. :)
