My brother lived in San Antonio, TX (passed away in Jan) and when I would visit the San Antonio Airport and police were the worst of ANY airport or city I have ever flown through! I had a keychain taken away that was in my checked baggage. It was shaped like a large fat pen and made of aluminum. The shape allowed me to put the key chain holder in my back pocket and let my keys hang down. It was given to me by the widow of a decorated army officer who was killed. It was a machined piece of round stock aluminum that was pointy without having a point and it hardly weighed anything! At the San Antonio airport I have also lost lighters (keepsakes) and once a money clip that had a tiny little knife blade on it! I have been threatened with arrest at that airport and have missed more flights there than any other airport! All in all I find that San Antonio in NOT a great place to live or visit!
