My buddy john came into town. Hes a veteran. I told ny buddy what you want to eat? He said I dont know, but make it America, and Texan. I said ok. So I made him homemade barbecue sauce on toss that around some chicken nuggets. I also made homemade steak fries. I present his meal to him, and he said: mmm, likes America and Texans, but the fries are French. But I guess they are steak fries. Haha! Good job soldier. I just laughed because hes half French anyway. Nahh! I got no buddy name John that is a veteran. Yall know I like to tell stories. But I do have a good buddy who is a retired vet from the Navy. The recipe for my barbeque sauce is: 2 tablespoons of Ketchup Teaspoon of balsamic vinegar or Apple cider vinegar Teaspoon of mustard Tablespoons of liquid smoke Garlic and onion powder Tablespoons of apple juice Teaspoon of honey Teaspoon of Tabasco sauce Makes all ingredients together and cook on simmer for 10 minutes. This is just a quick barbecue sauce recipe. Toss your chicken in and service. For my homemade stake fries: 2 potatoes peeled 2 cups of broiling water in a medium pot 2 tablespoons of hot oil in medium pot Peel, and cut up potatoes. Next put em broiling water. You do this to make sure your fries cook thoroughly. In other words by the fries being too thick they need to be broiled in water first and then fried. Because it will be raw in the middle if you dont boiled the potatoes first. You broiled them 5 minutes. Now drain them but let it rest for like 20 seconds. Because you know putting a liquid in hot oil will splash that hot oil everywhere. Finally fried them boys till golden brown, let them rest on a paper towels to get some of that oil off, and serve. Pss! Now go cook this. Haha!
