My car got a bit banged up as if late. I was at home and a lady backed into it as she was leaving. I was in the house when it happened. I had been without my car for 4 weeks as the dealer was doing factory recalls. The key got stuck in it and would not come out so they gave me a loaner. I was so happy it was still drivable but was dreading the insurance stuff. Then two days ago I was stopped at a red light when I heard brakes crying... I looked behind me to see a truck coming fast. I think I was so stressed from my aunt being unwell I did not flip to slow motion. I just stayed in real time lol so this is what I did. I flipped the car into neutral and took my foot off the brake. There was room to move forward so that worked out. He tried to miss me to no avail. But when he hit since The car could move with the impact the air bags did not go off and the car was not as damaged. I was not hurt too as I did not take the impact as hard. So..... I wanted to share that incase it might be useful to someone later. Happy driving!!!! Lol
