My cat Smokey woke me up meowing loudly at 6:30 this morning....ugh. Doesnt he know I am retired? Whats wrong with sleeping til 8am kitty? Lay down by momma and go nite nite. Then he made biscuits on my belly. Then he flopped down on my legs and purred. Before long the other cat Sammy came scratching on his post LOUDLY and they both ran through the apartment chasing each other, over the couch, under the table, on the bed, across my body. HEY!! I yelled. TIME TO GO NITE NITE!! Swoosh both disappeared. Finally, I turn over to sleep another hour. But NNNOOO here comes Smokey again pawing at my back making biscuits on me. Its no use. I might as well get up. The clock says 7:35. Groan.
