My colleague Michael D. Thompson is the creator of a brand new TV series called “Reset TV.” The show is one of the few POSITIVE reality-based TV shows to air, as it follows former professional sports athletes in their biggest challenge ever: THEIR LIFE! Each of the individuals interviewed has faced some form of adversity and, as a result, has fallen from the grace they once knew as prominent sports figures. But this is no mere spectacle, no desperate ratings booster. Rather, the whole purpose of Reset TV is to provide each former athlete with the ability to “reset” their life through counseling and a mentor program with a qualified athlete, one who understands those challenges and is in a position to assist in their getting their life back on track. And here’s the most important part of this email: With its Kickstarter campaign coming to a close within a matter of days, Reset TV is about $10,000 away from reaching its goal of $25,000.
