My cousin Marilyn E. Rossetti posted about her grandmother, Esther Ayer, longtime resident of Bedford. That got me to thinking of Lake Massasecum, where they had a summer cottage, and put me in mind of listening to the Kingston Trio version of this in 1964 or 65 at the lake. But when I went looking for Nick, Bob, and Dave singing this Norwegian tune I found this instead. And I could not pass it up. Lets be clear. That is a shower room of a high school. Two or three of those pictured were in the Wrong Shower Room. It takes ones breath away. Fremont is in a mostly Dutch area, and is the home of Gerber Baby Foods. It all adds up somehow.
