My dad served during WWII and cant get at many of my pictures - TopicsExpress

My dad served during WWII and cant get at many of my pictures right now so picked some that were handy that I always enjoy. Other pictures of my dad in uniform are not so casual and this was one my grandmother kept in her wallet and is torn along the edges. The second is of my brother Buster who at 17 went into the Army and served in both Korea and Vietnam retiring after over 13 years due to health issues from his time there. He was very young on this picture. Tom-somewhere I have younger pictures all dressed in blues and used to love walking into his mothers living room which was lined with pictures of his brothers who all but a few of 11 boys served also in all the different branches. He being the baby his was added last. Tom served over 21 years and this picture is almost halfway through his long career. He and my brother are great friends whose paths crossed along the way as my brother was getting ready to come home from Vietnam Tom was settling in Thailand. My mother also had brothers who served during WWII and the list goes on from there my fathers uncle died during WWI. So today I say thank you to my family-extended family-here still and those gone and also to all those friends and everyone who served or are still serving this great country. God Bless America now and always!
