My daughter, Alanna was in a car accident downtown on Thursday, and thankfully was not hurt, except for a bruised thumb and an airbag burn on her wrist. Both vehicles involved look like they will be write-offs. She was turning left onto Elm at the native friendship centre and was flagged ahead by the driver of a vehicle on the outside west bound lane. When she passed beyond that car, she was hit by a vehicle in the inside lane. That corner is infamous for similar accidents on a much too regular basis. The city should put a no left turn sign there to avoid future accidents with possible serious consequences. Cars can be replaced, but people cant!
