My family comes first, and theres no room for your police bashing stupidity. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ive been quiet all evening regarding the execution of the two NYPD officers this afternoon mostly because I was so overwhelmed by emotion that I didnt want to knee jerk in my comments. But let me say this, anyone who knows me knows that I am a kind-natured person. I do not demean or belittle others professions nor do I presume to know how hard or easy or stressful or important or insignificant anyone elses job is. What I do know is that there are friends and family and people on FB that give my husband (and his Brothers) a hard time about the nature of his work, how he does his job, how much he makes and question why police handle things the way they do and insist there are better ways. This is directed to YOU.....YOU do not have a job where you are at risk of getting run down on the highway during a traffic stop, or getting attacked answering a domestic disturbance, or getting executed while sitting in your car. Your wives havent seen you hug your children as if it were the last time they would do so and then reluctantly send you off to work. So STOP the bashing, STOP the if onlys and what ifs STOP presuming to know. If you could do the job you wouldve taken the test. And dont ask for a fing PBA card!!!!!
