My daughter Julia, her husband Brian, and their dog, Thunder were attacked by 2 loose pit bulls tonight. All in hospital emergency. They will be OK thanks to Brian fighting them off Julia and Thunder. What a horrible thing to have happen. They were just walking Thunder on their Friday night walk. Please pray everything will be ok with all three. Just so frightening for all. The owner and another neighbor heard them screaming and came out and saw his dogs had got loose. Julia feels that Thunder would have died if the owner had not been able to get them off her. Thunder is in hospital in surgery now. When people have such fierce dogs, they should keep locks on all gates so there is no way the dogs can escape. Just so unnecessary but I am so grateful my daughter and her husband will be OK after they heal.
