My daughter and I were out to dinner two hours ago, as we were getting ready to leave the restaurant a little girl about 3 years of ago waved to me and said hello and began talking to me, then I noticed that both her parents who were seated across from one another were on their phones and the little girl was trying to converse with a stranger, she was so cute and sweet. This saddened me, what could be more important than to pay attention to your little girl. Don t the parents know that time passes quickly and soon their little girl will be grown. I said to the little girl, whats the matter, are mommy and daddy too busy texting? Tell them to get you a phone so you can text too. I told my daughter when we left, it s a.shame, when we were young our parents actually paid attention to us. I see this daily, parents ignoring their babies, and young children because they are texting. I fear that these children are not properly nutured and they will grow up and have no feelings.
