My daughter has got to be one of the great uber moms of the century. Her son and 6 of his fellow graduates and graduatesses drove her new car up here from Denver, and are camping out here after they all spent the weekend at a fancy resort. Tomorrow, the baby sisters half dozen friends fly in from Denver too. Next weekend, all those kids, the local kids from around here, and 50 family members from both sides of the family also show up for a combination happy graduation and its summer party. Oh, and there is a mandatory show up funeral in Seattle between now and then. She does all this and still manages to keep all of us on track, out of trouble, and on time- arranging travel schedules, launching boats, and keeping the food coming. She must have gotten these traits from her mother. Certainly not from me.
