My daughter is 14 weeks. She was sleeping through the night and now wakes up and is very restless. I have added a night feed back into her schedule, shes EBF. My husband does not get up with her at all and doesnt seem interested in doing so. He has stayed with her one night and told me to go to bed early and when I got up at 3am to check on her, he had left her on a pillow on the sofa and she rolled off and was laying (still on the sofa) on her stomach. He was asleep. I told him she could have suffocated but he didnt seem to understand how serious it was. My question is - how do I get a more involved partner without nagging? I feel like I cant trust him with her at night. Hes home with her most of the week while I work. Im not sure if hes letting her sleep too much during the day or not feeding her enough and thats why shes restless and wants to nurse all night. My mom watches her one day a week and when she watches her, she gets two 4-5 ounce bottles and sleeps through the night and still naps for my mom. With my husband, she gets one 4-5 ounce bottle. I am gone about 6 hours. Im just trying to find some help, the lack of sleep is making me feel crazy. Im afraid this is taking a toll on my marriage. His family lives out of state and he wants to take her away for a weekend without me (I have school obligations) and I feel like his family will think Im just trying to keep her away from them, but the reality is my husband hasnt stepped up to the plate and in my opinion, had put her life at stake. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!-Anonymous
