While taking the written part of Staars today she was not allowed (by Mrs. Mahanna) (sp?) to use her one and only accommodation- which is a list of most commonly misspelled words. She pleaded with the teacher to find her home room teacher (Mrs. Johnson) to explain. She was denied her only accommodation. Not only has my daughter been worried and stressed over the test, now she has been forgotten and passed up. Please pray for me that I use the kindest of words tomorrow when I walk in with my my daughter and politely explain the misunderstanding.
