My daughter saw the neurologist yesterday and she has tuberous sclerosis and there is nothing that can be done. Her head is riddle with these tumors and fortunately shes had no symptoms other than some bad headaches. Nothing of the major symptoms that can occur which are like MS to some degree. This is a rare condition and they say its genetic and she could have been born with it. The doctor was surprised that she hasnt had more symptoms with the amount of tumors he saw. They even compared her MRI with mine and they are way different. The disease she has can cause tumor in all major organs, heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, so it can get pretty serious also. I feel crushed by all this even knowing there isnt anything I could have done. In my life its been one thing right after another and I struggle very much with depression, just want to give up, I cant do it anymore. Its such a hard thing mentally when you cant help your child and now what to do. I understand how other family feels when they cant help, and maybe they want to just dont know how. Please say prayers for my daughter, Heather, she is truly a blessing to her family and me. Thank you again.
