My day started out with the kids having a two hour delay at school. This would be a treat anytime other than today. I needed to get to the store and get home to make tacos and pie for Zebs feast at school. This put me behind waiting on the bus to come. I get to the store and run into some friends that I havent seen in awhile. They told me some horrible news about the Son having cancer, the Father perhaps having Parkinsons Disease and the Grandmother having MS. The Mother is in such bad shape due to an auto accident many years ago. Needless to say, I prayed the whole way home. NEVER take your health for granted. All the money in the world means nothing without your health. Well, we made it to the feast and it was fabulous! Afterward, I had been asked to stop over at my workplace. My co-workers and others gave me such an unexpected wonderful surprise today! What a bunch of angels! I hope my tears showed them how grateful I am! People can say all they want about small towns but I am truly blessed to live in the best place on earth! :) Remember Kevin in Home Alone and that the greatest gift for Christmas is Family, making a new friend and perhaps kicking some butt! lol.
