My days are way funnier when I tell Matthew about them....I love the perspective re-telling an event gives... Me: So, after all that (insert a half-hour story about being embarrassed by some kiddo behavior), I tell (threaten may be slightly closer) them that we ALL have to go in to pick-up contacts for Sam and Katie and I have high expectations....we are only using our eyes (hehe-pun), not touching anything, we will be quiet, etc. (And then I threw in a serious mommy look). Matt: How did that work for you? Me: I will just say that the way eye-glasses are displayed contribute to kids using them as starting gates, which need to be raced under..... Looking for some sympathy, I asked him if he would ever want to run that errand? Without hesitation, he said he would love to, that he would take that over his job any day of the week.......and he has a pretty good gig going for a j-o-b. He is so right. I need to remember that I will miss these days desperately.....why not find the humor in them and enjoy....
