My dear Friends, I leave this morning to play a series of concerts in Shanghai, Nanjing and Suzhou with the amazing Singapore Chinese Orchestra directed by Maestro Tsung Yeh and with my bro and drummer Goh Yong Seng Tamagoh We will play in magnificent concert halls in these three cities, starting with the Shanghai Concert Hall. I am so proud and honoured to be playing a wonderful composition by my long time friend and brilliant composer Kelly Tang called Montage - Concerto for Jazz Piano and Chinese Orchestra. A difficult piece, it is finally becoming my friend as I get intimate with it and I look forward to playing it at the three upcoming concerts. I wish you all could be with us. See you back in Singapore on the 26th of May 2014. Meanwhile, please continue to go and support my Latin Jazz Trio at Bobs Bar at Capella Singapore with Brian Benson, Tony Zee, Robert Nalin and the great pianists who will hold the fort for me, Oliver von Essen, Mario Serio and Kerong Chok.
