My dear fellow blind dog parents. I love reading the posts about all of your babies. I think some of you know about our gal Izzy the Blind Wonder Dog https://facebook/pages/Izzy-the-blind-wonder-dog/1420453344861497 She is amazing and we love her to pieces. However, she has a bit of a problem with her destroying things, and by things, I mean EVERYTHING. This week alone, she has eaten through 2 leashes, one was her custom, I am blind leash. The entire list that I can remember is 5 iPhone chargers, a noise cancelling headset, 1 remote control, 2 window sills, 6 slippers, a dining room chair, you are getting the point. You are shaking your head and asking, what have you done? We have gone to obedience training, have raw hides, balls that you fill with crunchies, take her to the park twice a day, crate training, spray bitter apple on our things. We do have other dogs in the house so she is never alone. At this point she is on a metal leash when she is out of her crate, and I do let her sleep with us. She can sit and down, but she is so energetic and acts like a puppy. We love our gal, she was thrown on her head when she was 3 weeks old and lost her eye sight. I am at a loss, we do not know what else to do. Thoughts, suggestions ideas, please help!!!
