My dear friend Song Sok , an amazingly intelligent young man, a student, a brother, a son, and a friend with a bright future ahead of him has been missing since July 13, 2014. He was last seen swimming in Lake Travis in Austin, Texas. His family and friends have stayed strong, praying that Song was alright even after the Austin police department no longer continued their rescue mission to find Song. With all the support of family, friends, and caring individuals his family was able to raise money to hire a private rescue team, because we refused to give up on Song. Some of you may have noticed i posted an online some weeks ago a online fundraiser his family and friends created. It has now been over a month since Song disappeared and we are still searching, the professional dive team that was hired to find Song has come up empty and Song is nowhere to be found. We are now hoping that this might mean that he is still somewhere out there, please take some time to get to know Song Sok. Take a look at this video of Song telling his goals, and share the video! I have also linked the online fundraising site his friends and family created because although we have reached our goal we will not stop searching for Song and every donation no matter how little really helps continue our efforts. Song was a dear friend of mine who really helped me in my transition to college and was an overall amazing friend, We all miss him dearly.
