My dear friends. I have a day today which is melancholy. Almost six years ago, today, my late husband and I were together. He never survived his pace maker replacement. Would not take home oxygen and told out PCP he would rather die than wear the c pap machine. So, he passed. And I, was left to be a 55 year old widow...sad, horrified that he was gone so soon, and today, would have been our 40th wedding anniversary. So, Jimmy, wherever you are in Heaven, I am down here thinking about you, our life together and our great children. He found me at 19. He was 24 and very mature. A veteran...Army...carried the radio thru Viet Nam. They want to kill the communitions man first. Jim survived, came back mind mostly intact due to his insistence and persistence for survival. He was giving, loving, a great great father and a wonderful help mate and spouse. Everyone, if they had a Jim Vidanoff, could get blessed, right Valerie Vidanoff Meyers?? He was one in a million and I wish all women who need a good man, find a Jimmy. I have been fortunate enough to find another peach. His name is Brian Mahoney, and I dearly love his Buckeye behind to the end. Happy Aniversary to me...and Jim, in Heaven, God Bless you for being a God fearing, hard working husband who gave and gave and gave. He should have been cloned. Dianna Doles Petry met him. He loved to kiss the hand of delightful women. He was continental, old-fashioned and a man amongst men. I am proud to have spent 34 years of marriage with a REAL man. They are out there, so....Keep trying. You can find one if you try, as not all men are not good. I had a great one, and I bless the day we met. Also, Mahoney. He is my sugar pie honey bunch, and I am lucky for the second time. He loves me like a rock. We are committed til the end. I think he just likes my food, LOL..but, no..I lie...he adores me and the feeling is way mutual. Also, the prodigal daughter and I spoke today. We will be getting together for lunch or dinner soon. My baby girl...is coming back. And that makes my day. Do please have a divine Sunday. Have some cake, and enjoy your day.
