My dear friends and colleagues in orthopedic surgery... We need to have multi-disciplinary teams in Demerdash hospital between different specialities, and one of this between the MSK imaging subspeciality group and orthopedic surgeon...as you know it is very important to discuss the interesting cases, know the management of the cases, get the feed back for the diagnosed cases, putting guidelines for management, deciding the best imaging tool for every case, learning what examination to order and when to order, learning what entities that should be put in radiology report that may alter the patient management either positive or negative, putting a research plan and clinical-imaging updates that can be focused upon in the research papers joining the two units and facilitating the communication between radiologists and clinicians...etc.. I really believe that this is step is of utmost importance and it will increase the learning curve of both units very rapidly, which will improve the quality of service provided to our patients.. I know that there is orthopedic oncology MDT meeting..which is a very good start...and I wish that could be applied in every branch in orthopedic science. Until this dream comes true -inshaa Allah-..I hope we can benefit from each other in this page in different topics...We can use this page as (virtual meeting).. Are you interested? Thanks a lot ...
