My deepest sympathies to the family of Chris Cox. Chris was the Principal of Double Churches Middle School. Principle Cox was truly a man who cared about our children. Coach Cox devoted 33 years to the Muscogee County School District as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal, and grant administrator. He was a well loved man by his students and staff. Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm on Saturday, April 19 at Solid Rock Assembly of God, immediately followed by the memorial service at 4:00 with Pastor Jay Bailey officiating. Private burial will be at the Waverly Hall Cemetery, and the family will receive friends at 6:00 pm at Midland Middle School according to Striffler - Hamby, Columbus.
