My dragon summersaulted in the air as it avoided the green streak of light that nearly hit his left wing. I had to sing to him and feed him deer meat to calm him down. With my eyes I followed the line the strange light had left in the sky and found it in a groove of spirit trees. i chocked back a sob at the mess the light had made. The trees were broken and their nymphs were dead. i urged my dragon forward to find what had killed our gods. As we neared the groove i could see a strange round thing resting in the middle of the new graveyard. It was shiny, like the river, and was the color of the werewolves fur. Hush Nanani.” I cooed as he ruffled his blue scales in fear. With effort I made him land. Slowly I approved the round thing. It seemed to hum like a hive of bees. A loud crash was heard and light poured from a new hole in the object. Two creatures emerged, with skin the color of Nanani’s scales. They waved shiny objects around that blinked like the stars. Suddenly I saw those things coming at me
