My elder brother shot a documentary on uttarkhand floods 2013 - HARSIL HEROES> This Documentary was shot by a Survivor on his Mobile phone Samsung Galaxy Note 2.He is working in Bollywood Movies as an Assistant Director ,went to Chardham yatra in Uttarakhand to take blessings and also wants to write a Movie Script for his Debut movie. Unfortunately he got stranded in Gaumukh due to inclement weather for four days and trekked to Gangotri and from there to Harsil. In Harsil he was Airlifted by Indian Army to Uttarakashi and from there he was given lift by Haryana Govt Chopper to Jollygrant Airport. Andhrapradesh Ex- CM , Sri Chandrababu Naidu received him at the Airport and given a free flight ticket to Hyderabad. Facts about Operation Surya Hope in Harsil. 1. There is no single causality in Harsil Army camp. Doctors were present round the clock in the Camp. Medical Assistance was provided to all pilgrims. 2. Indian Army soldiers in Harsil did a great job in handling the operation.They worked 18 hours a day by just having 3 pooris & tea in the morning,But they provided three time Meals to all survivors in Harsil Camp. 3.
