My electricity was cut off an hour ago due to a short payment of my account of which I was not aware in Brackenhurst, in which the gentleman if I can call him that, handed a notice of disconnection to my gardener. I have not received a notice or an account from the council, but paid what I thought it should be. The shortfall was nothing compaired to what I had paid. I contacted the council on various numbers and the one lady gave me a number which was the Edgars call centre, the other numbers just rang. After an hour and a half I managed to get hold of the electricity accounts department who told me I had to pay the shortfall and fax through the proof of payment, but the electricity would only be connected by 9pm this evening. I informed the not so pleasant lady that my mother was on an oxygen machine and coudnt wait till 9 pm this evening. She was not concerned at all, and then I said my mother could be dead without it. She then said well shes not dead yet so send the proof of payment. Then I said well she will be dead by 9pm if this isnt sorted out urgently. Still no response or compassion from this not so human being. I then said I hope her mother and family never experience what I am going through. I asked her for a reference number for the complaint and she said use her name. Well DORA JACOBS I am mentioning your name, hope you sleep well tonight breathing the fresh air without needing oxygen. Thank you Alberton Town Council for all the help I have received since I moved here in 1985 LIKE NOT
