My email to SoEs Senior CS rep. He wrote to me about my banning. Heres my response: I have complaints unanswered from 2011. I decided not to send them since the personnel are prob. changed by now. IMNSO, its unreasonable for a CS queue to be more than a week long, but thats your business. My Nazi comment was private, not on the forums. Do you really think You must be a troll warrants five days? I still maintain that is unreasonable. Please tell me what was off-topic about saying when I would buy TDS? Please tell me what was racist about noting that the server lag occurred during prime time in Asia? Tell me what is racist about speculating that the hot-seater/account sellers are coming from the Eastern nations? I really, really, really have this (un?)reasonable expectation that people will tell the truth. Thats why Im in social science, not business. It infuriates us when you lie to us. Like it or not, I speak for the community of EQ players. You lost major credibilty by lying about the reasons behind the swarming nerfs! As to how many warnings, blah blah, most of them were not ever posted to my notice/account. It doesnt count if you dont notify me! Heres what you should look at: posts your moderators objected to divided by total number of posts. The fact that I am active on the forums should not make me more of a target than the person who posts 2 inflammatory things per year. In fact, you need to examine whom your reports are coming from so you can weed out those few vindictive trolls. Fair warning, players are beyond angry at your company, in large part because of your draconian customer service policies. Hundreds of people are getting suspended/warnings/week. We *will* go elsewhere where you have no control. It seems to me you would prefer to take your foot off our necks and still have some control rather than continuing these policies and having us free to criticize and rip down all that your predecessors have worked for. Remember, we build this community and content. Please pass that on to your superiors. As for me, as I said before, I really dont even play anymore. Youve burned your last bridge with me. Im there for my server. They need me and they count on me, (running the largest guild on Povar.) I would be pleasantly surprised if your company adapted with the times which is why Im even bothering to scream to you to save SoE. Lee of Povar
