My experience: I started my preparation from July 5th 2014, i wrote a schedule and started to work on with full pace (Schedule Plan: Magoosh Flash Cards(1deck-1 day with perfection)+WPME-Norman Lewis(Daily 3 Sessions)+The Hindu Newspaper(Daily Editorial)+Quant (Easy Chapter-1day,Moderate Chap:2 Days,Diff:2-3 Days)Dr.Rajus material).I continued my preparation till July 20th and i covered almost all major Chapters,as my seriousness levels are getting down i thought to take a brake for two days and i went to my native place later i thought to resume my preparation but due to some series of unfortunate events i lost 8 days of preparation i returned on 28th and resumed my preparation and i found that i am lagging in time while solving a problem so at that moment i decided that i want to stop learning new concepts and i started practicing Manhattan 5 LB and finished on Aug 2nd (Only major chapters) on Aug 3rd i decided to write an essay it became very hard for me to write an essay without any prep so i googled and found few templates for Analytical writing. On Monday Aug 4th evening i wrote my first mock and got 291(Q:157 V:137) in ETS,i gave up all my hopes,On Tuesday evening (Aug 5th) i realised that i had almost spent 15K so i decided to give my 100% effort and deleted my yesterdays mock result from my mind and went to the prometric center to take the test,Before entering to the exam hall i started counting from 1 to 100 and from A to Z.At 4:40pm i started my Exam got 3 quant and 2 verbal sections. After the third section i took a 10mt brake and i used it wisely. I finished the exam with full confidence and concentration,i felt very nervous to check my scores i was surprised to get 153 in Quant and 147 in Verbal i noted them on my rough sheet and i added them to verify myself that whether i reached my target 300 or not.I was galvanized felt elated and hailed my self for self-inducing techniques i used and followed to get back on the track. (I used two techniques to get a reasonable score 300 in GRE first in verbal section i gave high priority to RCs so i went directly to the RC questions and took my time to answer these questions,i never practiced more than 70 Sentence completion questions,so i completely depended upon the RCs and i guessed SC questions (Magoosh cards really helped me to solve these questions) For Quant go and solve DI first and use ur time wisely i failed to implement this in my last section. I want to conclude here by saying few points. 1.You are the best so dont Lose your confidence. 2.Make a proper plan and never get distracted like me maintain the flow. 3.GRE completely depends on your patience.
