My experience with the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obamacare So the current favorite whipping boy of the right, as well as many comedians, is the affordable care act which is also known as Obamacare. I finally decided to check it out a few days ago in the evening. I have heard somewhere that this was the busiest time since people are getting home from work and signing on to it, so I fully expected to experience long delays. I went to the site, got right on with little if any delay, and soon was heading to an area that looked interesting. There were occasional delays, but for the most part it went pretty well. There were a few areas that could stand improvement, but this is hardly the first site Ive encountered that could use refinement. Ive come across a lot worse on Health insurance company websites. I didnt finish what I wanted to do, mostly because I wanted to watch something on TV, so I figured Id come back later. All in all, Id say that I got off to a reasonably good start, and I expect it only to get better as time goes on. Undoubtably there are going to be people who will insist that Imeither lying, or that I am a lone exception among the vast majority of cases where people have had nothing but nightmarish experiences. However, I can only tell what my experience was and those who dont like that are free to either take it or leave it…
