The Olympics are supposed to be about unity...whats happening in Russia is a human rights fiasco. The fact that they will still have the games in a country that is allowing the citizens to be beaten up (and then arresting the people who WERE beaten) is appalling. The country is threatening to arrest the athletes. Im sorry, and i know theres a "its their country, obey their laws" kinda situation....but these laws were not in effect when the games picked Russia as the site. It sucks because a lot of these Olympiads work very hard to get there and it might be their one shot............but i wish they would pull the games out of that place.
