My eye continues to heal, but now I am detached. Five days into home confinement and Im still adjusting to this routine that is tedious, quiet, and frustrating. I move from the deck to the bedroom to the living room, keeping my head down, afraid of any real movement. I quit taking the Vicadin and remain grateful for any sleep I can carve out. Im restless. Cant even begin to imagine what this is like a week from now.
