My faith in Mercy Medical Rogers is restored. Thanks to the team of Dr. Wigington, Jesse, Lisa and Kathy. I had an Esophagogastroduodenoscopy at 3 am this morning due to food being lodged in my esophagus. The surgeon took a biopsy and believes I have a narrowing in my lower esophagus, and a very irritated esophagus. This has happened to me on and off for the past 10 years, but never to this extent. One of the worst experiences in my life. I felt so much better when I woke up from surgery. Now just have to recuperate from lack of sleep, anesthesia effects sand a sore throat. Also, thanks to the staff of NW Medical Center in Bentonville for being proactive and transferring me to Mercy. Dr. Holder (I believe) and RN Dee saw the worry and angst on my face and wanted to get me help sooner than later. Thanks everyone for your prayers. I got to take my first ride in an ambulance.....
