My family and I belong to St. Andrews the Apostle parish. Since - TopicsExpress

My family and I belong to St. Andrews the Apostle parish. Since joining St. Andrews over seventeen years ago we have always felt like this was home. Our original pastor, Fr. Dominic, challenged us from day one to get involved and we have always strived to be active. Here is a bit more background about my involvement in church activities. As anyone who gets involved can attest, there is no telling what you will end up doing. From Eucharistic minister, to RCIA team member, to playing third base on the church ball team, it has been a diverse set of experiences. I have particularly enjoyed being a host couple in marriage preparation classes. I really like listening to young couples share their views on marriage and like helping them understand the sacramental nature of catholic marriage. We have probably hosted close to fifteen couples by now and it is always rewarding to bump into a past couple and hear their marriages are alive and well. I plan to continue to serving as a Eucharistic minister for the foreseeable future, but I remain on the lookout for other opportunities. I don’t know what will be next, but I will be open to whatever comes. I derive much personal enjoyment and satisfaction from serving.
