My father pastored a church in Morro Bay, CA when I was about 4. He tells of a time when we went to the dunes to show a visitor the ocean. Having driven outside of town and down to the dunes, we parked our car and spent a bit of time enjoying the view. When it was time to leave, we got in the car just to discover the battery had died. Miles out of town with not phone in sight my father began to pray. A few minutes later a tow truck drove down on the beach and asked if my father had called for a tow. You have to understand, this was over 40 years ago. No cell phones. I serve a God who answers prayer.
