My favorite no-human-intervention elephant birth video footage. the stuff that makes some people get grossed out is not graphically displayed here, you see from far away the baby has just plopped out and then they repostion themselves to get amazing footage of the first minutes of mom and baby. BEAUTIFUL and totally young-child friendly as well since actual birth is pretty much over...the magic is seeing how the mother tenderly helps her baby to his feet with lots of patience and calm. In a zoo setting that is not always the case and crowds form and shout etc. also being born on concrete makes it very difficult for babies to stand up and i tried to watch a captive birth video and it was so painfully obvious that the mother was in MASSIVE distress bc every time she tried to help baby to his feet he just went skidding across the floor. that crappy depressing video was entitled beautiful elephant birth or something but it was so obvious the mother was in complete panic mode that I think everyone who liked that other.video is severely brain damaged. But it had TONS of likes and it boggles my mind why this one doesnt have a million views.
