My favorite pulled pork recipe: Pulled Pork in the Crock Pot - TopicsExpress

My favorite pulled pork recipe: Pulled Pork in the Crock Pot (Warning: spicy... for less spicy, reduce or eliminate some of the pepper from your seasoning) 4 lb bone in pork shoulder 2 tbsp paprika 1 tbsp sea salt 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp ground cumin 1 tbsp ground black pepper 1 tbsp dried oregano 1 tbsp ground white pepper 2 tsp cayenne pepper 16 oz can of BBQ Sauce I use Bone Suckin Sauce... it is gluten free, has no preservatives, and is sweetened only with honey and molasses.. no high fructose corn syrup or cane sugar. I get it at Whole Foods and you can probably find it at some other retailers. You can also buy it online here: bonesuckin/ You can also make your own BBQ sauce! Mix the spices in a bowl and rub the pork shoulder with the mixture the night before (preferable) or a few hours before you plan to cook the pork. Wrap the seasoned pork shoulder tightly with plastic wrap and place in the fridge. 3 hours- next day: place the pork shoulder in the crock pot and add 1/4 cup of water. Cook on low for 5-6 hours. After 6-7 hours, remove the pork and drain the water/liquid from the crock pot. Remove the bone and with a fork or your fingers, shred the pork. Place the pork back into the crock pot. Pour in BBQ sauce and mix throughly. Cook on low for 2-3 more hours. Serve!
