My feelings on the past and things brought to the light last week :) poetic...interpretations lol.. "Forgiving how your forgetting me" Wicked are the hands that caressed me. Evil were the plans beset by me. A ten year road now I can see where it leads To where my selfish inclinations were the source of my soul bleed. No more wandering eyes. Thrown off the disguise, Of the man that I was And I rejoice in his demise. Ive mounted the knife That I used above my fireplace. For constant reminding Of murdering me in the truth I faced. And day by day The scarring on this soul heals And with each forward step The more snd more of my former peels. If you were there back then Im sorry you had to be a friend Through my old ways. Face down in every kind of line Teeter tottered my crimes Back in those old days. See, id been had Ask the siren, she knows Where her song lured me Into a grave from my life boat. And now im just the first score of a hat trick. An oh the pain I bore over addiction to a cracking whip. But now ive truely tasted Love in its entirety Ive found it in the One and Only While you try finding it in variety. Yet ill love through this hurt And ill pray for my enemies Because I was found through hurt And I found rest in the Trinity. And the tongues of liars Flaming fires With friends becoming arsonists And though you burned my house to the ground, My friend... I choose to pardon this. Far worse than my rage Is that youll live in your shame, And yet, still worse, Is when you get caught in her games. So heed my words.. Because by experience, I know that behind those bright eyes, Lies a stairwell to a cellar Where hurt youve never known resides.. Thats all I say to you friend.. I cant control What goes bump in the night. I could have vengence in darkness But I CHOOSE peace in the light. The old me, I am not he, I am the 4.0 me. And I REFUSE to sink back down Into that life so below me. Im sure its not finished But I welcome the damage Becausr my spirit is ablaze again And you can TRUST that ill manage :) I love you all and I hope everything is going as well for you there as it is for me here!
