My first IEP meeting went exceptionally well. All of the accommodations needed to help Autumn transition well are going to be set in place. My questions were answered and then some. Very lucky to live in a great town with a good special education program. I couldnt be happier. On a side note, for those of you who have Netflix and an hour to spare, go watch Sounding the Alarm. Its an Autism Speaks documentary. It really made me appreciate how blessed we are in so many different areas regarding services and so forth. For those of you who dont understand Autism and its effects on families, this gives one a glimpse of what some endure daily. Again, blessed. Could be better, could be much worse. Xoxo, Trish
