My first ever Tehari was actually less than even a year ago. Didnt - TopicsExpress

My first ever Tehari was actually less than even a year ago. Didnt know something like it existed! But after that first time, its become a go-to filling meal when Im in the mood for a meaty rice dish. I hate oil/ghee floating in my food which is why I avoid Desi Curries and Biriyani and Pilau. Tehari sits slightly lighter in my belly. But still... Now theres this tiny place at Dhanmondi 15, I pass every day and see the crowds hollering for Tehari, Biriyani or Pilau (the only items they do, but Lord were they busy). To date I have no idea what made me stop one day and decide to give the Tehari a go. But I am ever so grateful that I did. Because I found my kind of perfection at last :D That Tehari was absolutely yummy and gorgeous, very light, not oily at all (yay), and with lots of beef chunks in it. Ive never had Tehari anywhere else since (except once at Shaad, out of desperation) and its become a regular weekly lunch on workdays. For the last 6 months or so. Love the tiny places food. Only drawback (plus point for me) is you cant sit down to eat, its takeaway mainly. Tehari from here for me anytime. Price: 70/- Place: Lalbagh Biriyani, nect to Nabab Biriyani, Corner of Keari Plaza at Dhanmondi 15, opposite Almas Service: 2 minutes, eyes closed, every time
