My first house band gig here in SA.. 1988. I forced them to learn this song... they hated it! It became the closer to our show and our biggest it. snd.sc/18vJdc4 There are very few times that musicians listen to what the bass player has to say. It is not his or her "station" in life to suggest things. After all he only has to play 4-5 strings, maybe sing harmony, certainly not be the leader of a band. Unless you are Roger Walters of Pink Floyd. Then people will listen to what you have to say. Just my 2 cents
