My first morning turkey hunt is in the books. No shots fired but it was quite the experience with a hen coming in and getting about 15 feet away from me (hens are not in season)! Not sure if I was shaking from the cold or if it was adrenaline :) Ive never sat so still in my life. Such neat creatures. We saw two birds but only one stuck around. On the way out of the woods we saw several in another field. A deer also came in to the picture for 15 minutes or so. Cant wait to do it again!!
