My first trip with Rob was to China, as I had mentioned before. We began our flight in Houston....NASA is there, but I did not get a chance to see it since we had to leave within hours of my arrival in Houston. From Houston, we flew to Los Angeles, CA. Did you know that there are tar pits in Los Angeles where they are still finding dinosaur bones? I found that fascinating!!!! Then we boarded our flight to China, and we had to fly over the Pacific Ocean. On the flight, I was able to sit in the cockpit with the pilots. I had an amazing time with them and I was amazed that they could keep track of all the equipment, radars, and buttons. I was also able to go to the galley and have a snack the very kind stewardesses made for me. We finally arrived in Shanghai. Can you tell me what famous Wonder of the World is in China and when it was built? How long did it take to build and why was it built? I had a great time in China. My next journey will be posted tomorrow but you are free to view the photos already posted of my trip to China and when flying on the plane.
