My fourth day gratitude challenge; 1. I am grateful for Virgils service for this country. He served with honor and valor. He literally had many of his unit thank him for theirs lives being saved. He served when it was not socially acceptable to be military just to come home to be spit on, hit and even called a baby killer. His return was as difficult as the year in Vietnam and it has cost him his mind and body. He truly paid the price for all of your freedoms. 2. I am grateful for my Scottish Heritage. My ancesters cleared back to the dark ages made huge sacrifices and paved the way for my fortunate life. 3. I am very thankful for my great friend and neighbor Brett Rhodehouse. We have known each other since junior high. He lived around the corner from me, and upon our return from Georgia our first home was just around the corner from his. We are now next door neighbors. My parents were his parents friends, Brett and Carma were my friends, Marlin and Shelly were my brothers friends. Our children were friends growing up and {I claim part ownership on those kids}, now our grandchildren are friends and in a few years maybe our great grandchildren will be friends How wonderful is that. I am truly blessed.
