My friend Jeanne L. Salisbury McCahon ordered cashew chicken at Hunan today. As she began eating it, she realized that there were no cashews in the otherwise yummy, concoction on her plate. Jeanne pointed this fact out to the server, who moved Jeannes crab Rangoon to reveal 4 cashew halves atop a mound of rice. After much laughter and some time to realize what had just happened, Jeanne asked if she could have some more cashews. The server that Jeanne asked. handed her over to another woman that asked Jeanne if she wanted 50 cents or $1.00 more cashews! Omgoodness! We just about couldnt contain ourselves. And to think, we could have walked right next door and probably bought a bag of cashews for a dollar or less.
